Who We Are
Gunilla Hamne
Trauma Consultant, Author of Resolving Yesterday - First Aid for Stress and Trauma with TTT, Founder of Peaceful Heart Network
In 2006, after having finished her training in a method called Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Gunilla contacted Professor of Psychology and Trauma Expert Dr. Carl Johnson. They traveled to Rwanda and Burundi to work with orphan survivors of the genocide and today, the Trauma Tapping Technique (TTT) derives from those experiences.
Inspired by the results, she founded Peaceful Heart Network along with colleagues in Sweden and Rwanda, one of them being Ulf Sandström. Their main aim is to empower survivors of war and other atrocities by teaching and spreading TTT, this powerful yet simple treatment to heal the memories of the past.
Ulf Sandström
Trauma Consultant, Author of Resolving Yesterday - First Aid for Stress and Trauma with TTT, Founder of Peaceful Heart Network
Together with Gunilla Hamne in the Peaceful Heart Network, Ulf has hands on experience working with emotional and post-traumatic stress with survivors of the genocide in Rwanda and acts of war in Congo. Together they train and teach TTT to large groups in different cultural settings also using dance and music. Ulf also works with lectures, corporate coaching and sports using mental training and hypnosis.
Peaceful Heart Network has been running two Trauma Centers in war torn Congo with thousands of documented cases since 2007. Ulf believes it is time for Europe and the rest of the world to embrace these simple methods to avoid suffering and prevent violence.
